UnSee Update #8 // January – February 2025

It’s been a while since our last update, but things are going great for us. This will be a short update because, even though there have been many things going on, we cannot talk about them just yet. We don’t want to spoil good surprises.
Much of the work during the past months has been in the background, going through the validation interviews and synthesising the main takeaways. We can consider the research part almost done, therefore, we started building our master Excel sheet that will gather all the data acquired across the research into one big table. This requires listening, and re-listening, and then listening again, to all the interviews we have done, at this point being more than 30, uff. This has been a challenging work, but we are slowly starting to see our efforts paying back. Plus, we are also finding ways to entertain ourselves [Fig. 1], the conversations we had during this research prompted some of the funniest memes, some from us, others found online.
At the same time, the team is getting ready with more dissemination activities, from writing new conference and journal papers (still in progress) to organizing new events to celebrate the final results of the research (more information soon). There’s not much to report in this update, apart from the fact that we’re very happy with the results so far, and we look forward to sharing them with the world.
